Not much to say about this place except that when they have their wing night on Wednesday's (35 cent wings), the place gets PACKED! If you order beers during the happy hour, the drafts are $4 each. Super good price for drinking while waiting for the wings. The wings come out fast (after an hour of waiting for the happy hour to start at 7pm). We always get the buffalo and naked wings with an order of AMAZING FRIES!!! Honestly, these are the best fries I've ever had. Trust me, get them.
Nothing is better than a bar with post-happy hour daily specials. They've got deals every day! I went on a night where all drafts were half off and this is why I'm giving the place 4 stars: I ordered a Magner's and it was still full price. Nowhere on their website or in the bar did it say that ciders were not included. I was actually pretty upset that I didn't get a warning. Inside is a chill space. Not too many bars seats so get here on time for sports games or on Wed. when there's $.35 wings (always packed then). Also there's live music, there's this guy that covers rock songs, he's pretty cool.
You've gotta come for Wings Wednesday! It's like a sea of wangs! Table after table with mounded platters of wings. It's a sight to see! We got two platters of extra crispy, medium heat wings. Thought the sauce singed my nose hairs at first, it wasn't too hot for my tastebuds. They really hit the spot. I don't know how I finished the burger. They come with perfect thin, crispy fries. Their burgers are served on a soft English muffin if that's your thing. It's mine. The brunch menu is up 'till 5pm. Primo. There's outdoor seating with its own TV. Pretty sweet in the lovely weather we had that day. Stop looking at the cute football players, Stacey! It's great neighborhood spot that I wish I had on the UWS.... I know, I'm always complaining about that. Well, it's not fair! Every neighborhood needs a Rathbones!
This was my favorite watering hole when I lived in Manhattan! I can't wait to visit it again on my next trip to NY!
